William Dwight Cinnamon

William Dwight Cinnamon, 60, met his Lord and Savior on January 27th, 2017 at the Laramie Care Center.  William D. Cinnamon was born at Laramie Ivinson Memorial Hospital on November 16th, 1956 to Carl D. and JoAnn (Seaton) Cinnamon.  He and his family moved to Kent, Washington in 1960.  He graduated from Kentridge High School where he was a member of Junior ROTC, the marching band, and active in both Boy Scouts and sports.

After graduation, Bill joined the US Marine Corps.  He was injured while serving and was honorably discharged.  He had many challenges in life, but he met them with a smile.

He moved back to Laramie and enjoyed his work in photography.  He was also ordained as an Assistant Pastor at a local church.  He loved living in Laramie and the people there!

He was preceded by his father, Carl, and is survived by his mother, JoAnn, and his brothers Roy (Gerri), Craig (Tena), John (Tamara), Mark (Karen), nine nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

On January 27th, Bill completed his work here and passed peacefully. He is enjoying a reunion with family and friends he has not seen in a long time, where he is enjoying peace, joy, and love.

Graveside services will be at 2pm Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Greenhill Cemetery with burial.

I haven't seen Bill since I moved away from Laramie after college. He always met adversity with a smile. I am saddened to learn of his passing. Rest in peace.

Bill always had a smile for every one!! Although Bill was my cousin, he was more like a 2nd brother to me. He will be missed by all who knew him. He's now enjoying seeing his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, face-to-face as well as celebrating with loved ones who've gone on before him into Heaven!! Someday, he & I will meet again!! "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." (John 14:1-3)

Laramie will not be the same without Bill. I know he loved to photograph the trains and beautiful pictures they are. Rest in peace.

God bless Bill! We would often see him on his bicycle, with his camera and a big smile on his face!
