Terri Gail Brooks passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 after battling several health issues.
Terri was born July 21, 1966, in Garden City, Kansas to Sam and Janice Porter. She was raised in Laramie, WY where she spent most of her life. Terri had a passion for helping others and put her heart into serving as a caregiver. She loved people and spending time with her family. Her heart was full and she gave a piece of it to everyone she knew. Her love reached above and beyond and will be felt for a lifetime.
She could play a mean game of pool and stood up to any challenge. There wasn’t a holiday or an occasion that passed by, without her friends and family receiving a greeting card, sometimes more than one.
Terri relished in the love of her grandkids. She will be greatly missed and we will cherish her love and memories forever. We love you Terri.
Terri is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents and her mother Janice.
She is survived by Paul, her husband of 30 years, her daughter Jenika (Luis) Barba, of California. Her grandchildren, Braeden, McKayla, & Marcus. Her father Sam (Sylvia) Porter of Oklahoma, her three sisters, Tina (Stacy) Metz, Tonia (Kent) Ridge, Agnes (Steve) McCormack, one brother Robert (KayLeah) King, numerous nieces and nephews, and an Aunt & Uncle of Oklahoma.
Private family services were held.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May she Rest In Peace.
