Rose Marie “Deeda” Sanders passed away peacefully August 25, 2021, at home with loving family. Rose was born in Memphis, TN to Ralph and Rose Houston on May 11, 1949. The family moved to Baton Rouge, LA where she spent her childhood years. Her family moved to Las Vegas, NV in the late 60’s, where she later met her loving husband of 49 years, Sheldon.

They moved to Sheridan, WY in the late 80’s where they spent over 30 wonderful years together, prior to Sheldon’s passing in February of 2019.

Rose lived for and loved her family dearly. She always put her family first and without exception provided encouragement, support and most of all love. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed riding Harley’s, raising German Shepherds, and her beautiful garden.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband Sheldon, parents Ralph and Rose Houston, sister Barbara Lee, and step-brother James.

Rose is survived by her loving children: Sheldon (Jacky) Sanders II, Kimberley (Barry) Bowler; and granddaughter Avary Rose Sanders.

Rose will be laid to rest next to Sheldon in Sturgis, SD, a place they visited and fell in love with while attending Harley rallies together. It is of great comfort for them to be together in such a beautiful place, one that meant so much and had wonderful memories for them.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home.
