Roberta Nell White, 83, of Laramie, formerly of Durant, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Laramie Care Center. She was born on August 24, 1935 in Atoka County Oklahoma to Flois and Dessie (Rushing) Belcher.
Roberta was very active in her church where ever she was living. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Durant for many years, She married Bill White on on her 21st birthday.
She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; son, David; brother, Wilburn; and her niece Wilma Belcher.
She is survived by her son, Flois White of Atoka, OK; her grandchildren, Barbara White and Angelia Tate (Chris); her sister, Patsy Jackson (Michael) of Laramie, WY; and her niece and nephews, Stephen Jackson, Shauna West, Kerry Jackson, and Tony Belcher, and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church in Laramie on Saturday Dec 8 at 4:00 in the afternoon.
Roberta was a joy to be around. She was always giving out hugs and smiling. I enjoyed getting to know her and she was the high light of the care center. I loved seeing her carrying books around and she would show me what she had , like it was treasure. We miss her already.
