Patrick Brady, 74, of Laramie, WY, passed away on April 17, 2020 at his home.
Pat was born Nov. 29, 1945 in Flushing, NY. He was the only child of H.A. “Tim” and Elinore Brady. The family moved to Laramie, where Tim was a flight instructor for military pilots at Laramie Airport. Pat attended Laramie schools, where he played baseball throughout his school years, and graduated in 1964. He began driving truck right out of high school, and greatly enjoyed hauling heavy equipment cross country. In his later years, he hauled material for local construction companies. He logged around 5 million miles accident free.
Pat married Roberta Davies in Feb. 1975, and had two children, Timothy and Patricia. They later divorced. Pat and Francis Gillett were married in July 2006 and remained married until his death.
Pat loved fishing, hunting and camping. He was a collector of music and enjoyed sharing his collection with others. Pat also loved dogs and always had a faithful companion by his side and was an advocate of animal adoption. Pat always had a story or joke to tell, and was an excellent writer.
Pat’s greatest joy in life was his children and grandchildren. He was very proud of all of them, and always had to have lots of “huggies” every time he saw them.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Fran, his children, Tim (Andrea) Brady of Piedmont, SD, his daughter Trisha Brady of Laramie, WY, his grandchildren, Derek and Wyatt Chism, Connor and Anya Brady, Emily Garcia, and his sweet dog Molly.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Laramie Animal Welfare Society (LAWS).
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled and announced in the coming months.

Tim, Trish, Andrea and all Pat's family: he will be missed. He always reminded me of a big teddy bear and as he turned gray, he should have been Santa Claus! He certainly had the calm strong personality to do that job! So sorry for your loss, but I know you have wonderful memories and many stories to tell.
Rest In Peace, old friend.
He was a great friend and co-worker. I'll miss his funny stories and music/book suggestion. RIP my favorite truck driver, we'll get coffee on the other side. .
