Patricia Maxine Webb

Patricia Maxine Webb passed away of heart failure, Friday, November 24, 2017.  She was only 49 years old but packed a lot of caring for her family, her animals and her friends into her short years.

Patty was born March 14, 1968 in Silverton, Idaho.  She moved to Casper, Wyoming as a toddler, and on to Arvada, CO to spend her elementary years.  She attended Junior High in Grand Junction, CO and then to Rawlins.  She graduated from Rawlins High in 1986 and moved to Laramie to attend U.W.

Patty loved her work in health care, moving from her early jobs as a CNA, to Ivinson Memorial Hospital to managing the office at the Cancer Center, and then on to private practices.  She had an irresistible, vivacious personality that drew people in and when you became her friend, you stayed that way for life. She never did anything in half measures, whether it was watching football or keeping people organized.

She is survived by her parents, Jimmie and Diana Webb, sister Cynthia Webb, brother-in-law, Rick Weathermon, and her beloved niece and nephew, Cathleen and Andrew Weathermon.  She is also greatly missed by her adored dogs.

Patty loved fishing with Cate, Andy and friends as they made treasured memories.  She wanted her ashes scattered in Curt Gowdy State Park.

A memorial service will be held at Granite Reservoir in spring when the fishing gets good.  Details TBD as June approaches.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Patricia Webb Memorial Fund c/o Laramie Plains Community Federal Credit Union, 365 North 3rd St. Laramie, WY 82072

Words are not adequate to describe what a wonderful friend and person Patty was. I'm not sure how I would've survived high school and those first years of college without my best friend by my side! Patty was kind, compassionate, giving, patient, funny, hard-working, loving, enthusiastic, and ALWAYS willing to lend a hand, a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on as the occasion warranted. I will miss her... Jim, Diana, Cindy, Andy & Catie I am so very sorry for your loss and will be praying that you are comforted by the memories of her love for you all!

To Patty's family, so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Patty that well, but I will remember her as the biggest dog lover I ever met, which showed when she would let my dog climb and slobber all over her. I will remember her as a kind person, and know she is at peace, happily spoiling all the dogs in Heaven.
