Nancy Marie Hartman, 75, of Laramie, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020. She was born on January 20, 1945 to Thomas and Ramona (Kennedy) Woods in Pasadena, California. While out in California Nancy had become a CNA at a local children’s hospital. Her family later moved to St. George, Utah where, she explored more opportunities. Nancy ventured out to Wyoming in the late 60s early 70s where she met Vernon Hartman Sr and married shortly after. Nancy became an upholsterer working on custom cars to new vehicles that just wanted that wow factor. After that she went into crafts where she made some of the most amazing blankets and quilts.

Nancy always enjoyed working in the yard gardening and taking care of her flowers. She loved her pets that kept her company she always enjoyed and adored them, you know they had a good home when she was making them sweaters.  She also loved spending time with her family and friends especially her granddaughters.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Hartman Sr. her daughter Adoralynn and her parents. Thomas and Ramona Woods.

She is survived by her son, Vernon Hartman Jr. “VJ,” daughter-in-law Rita of Fort Collins, Colorado; her granddaughters, Natasha and Layla Hartman; and her sister, Nadine Shakespear and multiple nieces and nephews.

Private family burial will take place, and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
