Muriel M. Holaday Smith, 92, of Laramie died November 24, 2017 at Hospice of Laramie.
She was born on August 30, 1925 to Alfred L. Holaday and Leona L. Carnes Holaday and had five siblings. During most of her life she was a housewife, though worked at the Senior Center for seven years.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Leona Lillie Carnes Holaday; father, Alfred Leroy Holaday; siblings, Shirley Perue, Alfred Holaday, Lawerance Holaday, Patsy Holaday Smith, and Jeroldine Boyce; husband, Leroy Smith; and children Donald Roy Smith and Celia Ussery.
She is survived by her children: Connie Silva in Laramie, and Diana Jackson (John) of Burley, Idaho; sibling, Carl Holaday and his wife in Chapperal, Nebraska; fourteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, twenty-five great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday December 2, 2017 at Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home, Pastor Wes White, officiating. Burial will follow at the Smith Family Homestead 1 Nine Mile Drive Laramie, WY.
