Michael Ray Post was a beloved Father who raided in Lake Stevens, Washington living close by his mother Shirley Ann Alderman. Michael was only 65 years old when he passed away on Saturday September 23, 2023 on his way to see close family in Oklahoma in Laramie, Wyoming at 1 pm in a sudden accident.

Michael R. Post was born on February 22, 1958 in El Paso, Texas to his beloved parents Gareld L. Post and Shirley A. Alderman, and left his family/friends, as well as, two daughters Cynthia L. Post, Susie M. Post and his stepson Travis Hensley on September 23, 2023. ”A life taken so soon from us all but will forever be in our hearts,” will be missed dearly as he shares his jokes and love for music in heaven now where he rests.

Michael R. Post was a compassionate, family – oriented, hard worker, and had the passion for music. A great memory I would like to share is when my sister and I were young he would play music with his friends while we would sing and dance. We especially loved singing one and one with our dad as well like ”Johnny Be Good,” ”Joni, Joni, Please Don’t Cry,” ”Fishin in The Dark,” and much more. Whenever we sing a song we will always remember you dad and hope your singing with us.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents Gareld L. Post and Shirley A. Alderman, his brothers David L. Post and Kevin J. Post, his stepdad James R. Alderman, and his wife Shirley K. Post..

He has survived by his children Cynthia L. Post/ son in law Jeffrey Brent Rutherford Jr of Moses Lake; Susie M. Post of Lake Stevens; and Travis Hensley his stepson of Arlington. Also would like to include his brothers Mark W. Post with his wife Linda Post of Granite Falls; Randy L. Post with his wife Mary Post of Oklahoma; and Jason L. Post with his wife Jennifer Post. 11 grandkids as well Hayli 22, Kelsey 18, Emily 15, Vicky AKA Levi 14, Isaiah 5, Nathan 15, Raelene 24, Miracles 21, Kahlia 19, Serenity  19, and Tristan 11.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday October 20, 2023 at 12:30-2:30 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home 4504 Broadway Everett, Washington
