Michael Jon Peterson

Michael Jon Peterson, age 68, loving father of three, and husband to Margaret Peterson, gained his heavenly wings in the early morning of October 3rd surrounded by his family.  Michael was born in 1955 in Hayward, WI and moved to Laramie, WY where he met his soulmate Margaret.  They share a daughter, Raquel, and two sons, Jonah and Sean.  He was dedicated to his family and always focused on giving kindness and love to anyone in need.  Growing up he loved cars, playing baseball, spending time with friends, cooking, being adventurous, living life to its fullest and making everyone smile! He loved spending time in the mountains, camping, hunting, fishing and being around the campfire instilling the greatest gifts to his family and friends.  His passion in life was painting and drywall. He placed his beautiful artwork around town in many homes and businesses, but cherished the work he put into his family and friends homes.  His greatest love was his kids and grandkids, and doing whatever they wanted him to do and be silly.  He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

Goodbye for now to our sweet husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, friend, and the most wonderful man.

Michael is survived by his wife, Margaret, his daughter Raquel Romero (Justin), sons, Jonah Peterson (Danielle), Sean Peterson (Dagan), his grandkids, Mckyln, Devani, Danika, Michael, Luke, SJ, Titus, Wyatt, Owen, Fisher, Hugh, Beau, Lottie, his sister, Kathy Pantier, his brothers, Lance, Steve, and Mark.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Clarence “Ollie” Peterson, mother, Dolores Peterson, and brother, Craig Peterson.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Laramie, an organization that loved and gave him comfort beyond measure.  He placed sparkles of paint “LOVE” into the walls there and he left as an angel.
