Mason Lewis Correll

Mason Lewis Correll unexpectedly went home to be with our Lord on July 2nd, 2024. He was born in Laramie, Wyoming on May 8, 2007 to Brett Szklarski and April (Correll) Martin.

Mason was homeschooled and received his GED in May 2024. Mason always wanted to grow up to be a cowboy, and his dream was achieved when he got the opportunity to become a ranch hand on a local ranch. He never met a stranger, and would talk to anyone. Mason would always lend a helping hand and wasn’t afraid to work.

He is preceded in death by his father, Brett Szklarski and his Great-Grandmother, Beverly Rice.

Mason is survived by his mother and step-father April and Dale Martin of Douglas, WY; his sister and brother Makayla, and Wyatt Melnychuk, both of Douglas, WY; his Great-Grandfather, Lewis Rice of Laramie, WY, who shared a great bond with Mason; his grandmother, Lori Correll of Laramie, WY; his Aunt Ashley Knapp (Craig) of Laramie, WY, Uncle Matthew Correll (Jennifer) Bosler, WY; Mason’s cousin or as they like to call each other “homies,” Blaze Knapp of Laramie, WY. Mason had “Bonus Grandparents” LaDonna and Rodney Knapp of Beloit, WI.

A Celebration of Mason’s Life will be held at the Albany County Fairgrounds Activity Building on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024 at 1:30, with Kyle Berger officiating.
