Mary T. Flores of Laramie died Saturday January 20th in her home. She was born on August 15, 1928, in Redlands California, to Petra Mendez Gonzales and Carlos Gonzales. Shortly after her family moved to Mexico where she eventually met and fell in love with her soulmate. They married on April 4, 1944, and enjoyed 62 years of marriage, spending most of those years living in Laramie.
Mary is survived by eight children, Petra Fink husband Dennis and family, Teresa Vialpando husband Anthony and family, Bruno Jr. Flores Wife Isabel and family, Thomas Flores wife Betty and family, Victoria Aragon and family, Rosa Edgar husband Chad and family, Christina Johannson husband Kent and family, Mathew Flores wife Alli and family. She is also survived by one brother.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bruno T. Flores, her parents Carlos and Petra Gonzales and 6 siblings.
Visitation will be held Friday January 26th from 3:00- 5:00 pm with a Rosary at 4:00 p.m. at Montgomery -Stryker Funeral Home. Funeral Liturgy will be at 10:00 am Saturday, January 27th at St. Laurence O’Toole Catholic Church by Reverend Fr. Ray Rodriguez celebrant. Interment will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Laurence O’Toole Catholic Church.
