Mary Jane Berry was a beloved grandmother, mother, sister, and wife during her incredible 68 years of life. She reached the end of her wonderful life in the early hours of June 2nd, 2022.
Mary was an incredibly special soul. She was such a light in this sometimes-dark world, and she will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. She touched the lives of so many people across multiple generations. She was a phenomenal kinyaa’áanii woman. During her time with us, she always prioritized family and especially her grandchildren. She made a point to always think of everyone else. She was the most selfless person you know. Always thinking of others. Few people knew the extent to which she struggled. Her joy for life and indomitable spirit kept her pushing through the pain. It would be wrong to say that Mary lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Mary stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Mary. Just because she is no longer here, it does not mean she lost her fight.
Mary was survived by her husband Larry Berry. Son, Kyle Rockwell. Grandchildren, Kadence and Mia, brothers, and sisters. And her favorite granddaughter Aubrey Rockwell.
