I am so sorry for your family's loss and the loss for everyone who knew him. I will always remember the last day I saw him and Jackie shopping. His always pleasant smile could light up and lighten up a day with his calmness.
My thoughts and prayers are with you now and always. If you need anything i will do whatever i can. Love to your family
I worked with Marvin as Project Coordinator of the Foster Grandparent Program and Marvin was one of my favorite grandparents. The kids loved him! He had such a kind, gentle nature that the kids gravitated to. I remember visiting him at the UW daycare where he worked, and he was outside with a little boy, teaching him how to hammer and nail, I also remember him taking me inside and showing me the indoor playhouse that he had built for the kids, complete with a pulley and a bucket they could raise and lower toys up and down. He was so loved there, and I really enjoyed having him in the program, he was great to work with. What a kind and gentle man he was.
Hugs to you all. I will miss Marvin's laugh and our great bantering. My deepest Sympathy. Elena Romero
Marvin, I truly miss you, you will always be my best friend Colleen.
