Margaret Clennan

Malgorzata (Margaret) Clennan passed away peacefully on January 19th, at the age of 70 after a very short fight with cancer.  She was born in Kraków (Cracow) Poland on November 19th, 1954 to Leokadia and Waclaw Wegrzyn.  She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Edward L., a son Edward W., a daughter Catherine, a sister Barbara, two nieces, and a brother-in-law, John and his wife Sheryl.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Margaret came to the United States to study chemistry at Clemson University in South Carolina where she received a M.S. degree in 1984 followed by a Ph.D. degree at the University of Wyoming in 1988.  She worked for many years as an instrument specialist and in the Organic Chemistry Laboratory program at the University of Wyoming.

Margaret loved cats, dogs, and horses, and enjoyed listening to country, folk, and pop music, and reading classic novels.  She also treasured and passed on the love of the outdoors to her family during many 2-to-3-week summer RV camping tours of National Parks and historical sites in the western US.
