Kerin Hankin, 79, of Laramie, died Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Ivinson Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 14, 1936 in Sioux City, Iowa to Raymond and Agnes (VanVick) Solberg.

She lived in Sioux City and Evanston, IL before moving to Elk Point, S.D. She graduated from Elk Point High School in 1954 and attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D.  She married Bill Kraft and made their home in Sioux Falls, S.D. but were later divorced.

She then married Howard Hankin in Laramie, WY on March 18, 1985. They made their home in Laramie, St. George, UT, Cheyenne, WY then returned to Laramie.

She enjoyed knitting, ceramincs, and coffee with friends.

She leaves behind her husband, Howard Hankin of Laramie, WY; her sister, Judith Solberg Quam (Rocky) of Elk Point, SD; her three children, Cindy Littler of Kearns, UT, Jenny Ruiz of Yucaipa, CA, and Bill Kraft of Sioux Falls, SD; her stepchildren, Jerry Hankin of Laramie, WY, Gail Hankin of Laramie,WY and David Hankin of Cheyenne, WY. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Bradly, Matthew, Kimberly, Mary, Jessica, John, Nick, Brandon, Elizabeth, Lark and Jeremy; and her 11 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Greenhill Cemetery with burial.
