Kay L. Dalles went to be with our Lord on June 15, 2023. Kay was born on November 24, 1966 in Casper, WY. She enjoyed her elementary and Natrona County High School years with her parents, Ray and Kathryn (Hornecker) Putra and her siblings, Steven Putra, Carmen Fairservis (Richard) and Roy (Valerie) Putra. She excelled at downhill skiing, was part of the Casper Mountain Racers and tried out for the Junior Olympics.
After high school, Kay attended and got her Associate of Science degree (engineering) from Casper college. She moved to Laramie and married Dana Stickley. After several years, they divorced. Kay worked for many retail shops in Laramie, most recently being employed at Loves. Many times she would talk about how much she enjoyed working there because of the great employees and customers.
Kay married Brian Dalles in July, 2007 and she instantly became a mother to Wes and JW. She loved watching them during their junior high and high school years when they wrestled, played football, participated in 4-H shooting sports and showed livestock. After the boys were through high school, Kay and Brian could be found on a golf course when the weather permitted.
Kay was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Kay loved doing things on the Dalles Ranch whether it was branding calves or fencing in the high country. She would always jump in to help with whatever needed done.
Kay was kind with a dollar, always helping someone in need of a meal or even a hotel room for the night. Kay will be missed and remembered as a caring, generous and giving person.
Kay is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Kathryn Putra.
She is survived by her husband, Brian, sons Wes and JW, her extended Dalles Family, sister, Carmen Fairservis, bothers Steven and Roy Putra.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2023 at Greenhill Cemetery.

Kay, Words can’t express how devastated I am to hear that you have passed away. You were such an important part of my life and will be remembered fondly forever. We met when you first moved to Laramie - it was like fate that your dad introduced us! We instantly became friends and shared so many wonderful memories in those early years; snowmobiling, waterskiing, work shenanigans, and of course, the annual driving around looking at Christmas lights with the girls! You had a heart full of kindness and enthusiasm that touched the lives of many- you are and will always be greatly missed. Rest in peace, my friend. My heart is sad, but I’ll never forget you and all the good times we spent together.

My heart goes out to Brian , Wes, and JW. My heart was broken to hear. Kay and I had so many fun days doing her nails. She was always helping someone. Great gal! She’ll be missed by the valley. Prayers for you all!
I’ll always remember Kay from Albertsons. And those famous Halloween parties. She was always kind and had time to catch up. My sympathy to her family and friends. May the Angels watch over her 💞
