Karl F. Nordmann, 75, of Laramie, died Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Ivinson Memorial Hospital. He was born November 23, 1940 in Laramie, WY to Neil and Florence (Sutfin) Nordmann.
Karl grew up in Laramie and has been a lifetime resident. After graduating from Laramie High School, Karl spent several years in the United States Navy after which he was honorably discharged. Karl took over his father’s mason business and retired from that and went on to work at Bloedorn Lumber until his full retirement.
Karl is preceded in death by his son, Karl; his parents; his sister, Shirley Rehill; and his brother, Neil Nordmann.
He is survived by his children, John Nordmann of Laramie, Susan Canada (Tim) of Castle Rock, CO, Roxanne Beale of Laramie, WY, and Les Nordmann (Christy) of Laramie, WY; his grandchildren, Kacey Canada, Devan Beale(Ray), AJ Canada, Tyler Warford, Dustin Warford, Cory Warford, Brian Wilson, and Neil Nordmann; his great grandchild, Raynaldo Trevino. He is also survived by his sister, Peggy Smithson of Mesa, AZ; and his nieces, Tammy Hooper, Sarah Nordmann Davis and nephew Mark Smithson.
A celebration of Karl’s life will be at 12:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Elks Club.
