Karen Sue Campbell departed this earthly life and joined our Heavenly Father Wednesday, February 17, 2021. She was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on January 30, 1958 to George and Laura Campbell. Her fond memories of West Virginia included her love for her horse named Goblin.
Karen moved to Laramie with her parents and brother Kenny in 1968. She is a 1976 graduate of Laramie High School where she was a proud member of the LHS Choir. Following High School, she attended the University of Wyoming, receiving a B.S. Degree in Speech Pathology. She later accomplished her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse by receiving a B.S.N. in Nursing at UW. Karen worked as a Registered Nurse in Casper and Laramie, serving elderly and disabled patients. In addition to her family and her church family, Karen loved the Denver Broncos and the home team, Wyoming Cowboys! She was blessed with the love of her family and her many church family friends. Karen will be missed and forever loved!
Karen was blessed with three children, Melissa Caldwell-Peterson, Jonathan Michael Walters, and Aaron David Walters and two precious grandsons, Declyn James Caldwell and Tristan Alexander Caldwell who she bragged were her pride and joy.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and her son, Jonathon. Karen is survived by her children, Melissa and Aaron, and grandchildren, Declyan and Triston. She is also survived by her nephews, Shawn, Ryan, and Jeff Campbell.
