John was a great office mate at WRI. We worked on many projects together; he was a brilliant engineer and a wonderful person. My condolence to you Marlene, and his friends and family. I miss him dearly, Russ Renk

John, Marlene, and I sang together in the UW Civic Choir for many, many years and I would often meet them in the UW Student Union. John enjoyed participating in the many diverse UW events - he richly enjoyed this community and he will be missed. I will also miss seeing him out walking. :) Fond regards, Alto II Dorothy Ann Z.
