Hattie Mae Bullinger

Hattie Mae Bullinger, 45, of Laramie, Wyo., passed away peacefully at her Aunt Bell’s home on March 6, 2025.  Born in Laramie on April 16, 1979, to Colleen Crosier and Steve VanCleve, Hattie lived her life with passion and gusto. She filled the lives of her family and friends, and especially her children and grandsons with unwavering love and devotion.

Hattie’s kind heart and generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew and worked with her. She easily learned expert server and bartending skills and acquired lifelong friends wherever she worked. She particularly enjoyed processing tax returns for Jackson Hewitt.
A natural helper, she was in her element working as a Certified Nurses Aid and then Activities Coordinator at Edgewood Spring Wind assisted living facility.  She loved every dog and cat she ever met. She was also a die-hard Colorado Avalanche fan even choosing burgundy, steel blue, and silver as her wedding colors. A true Mama Bear, she possessed fierce loyalty and would go to any length to support and protect those she loved.  Her family, particularly her grandsons, were her world, her greatest treasures, and source of immense joy.  Always one to tell it like she saw it, her honesty and passionate nature were hallmarks of her character.

Hattie is survived by her husband, Adam Bullinger; her four children, Dale Swain, Katie (Cody Rose) Bartow, Trevor Bartow all of Laramie, and Destiny (Kody Bard) Bullinger of Surprise, Ariz.; her cherished grandsons, Xayden, Noah, and Elijah Rose, Jaxtyn Olivares-Bartow, Riftyn Swain, and Karson Bard; her mother and stepfather, Colleen and Joe Crosier of Arlington, Wyo.; her father, Steve VanCleve of Laramie; siblings, RC (Angel) Decker of Cheyenne, Beau (Sophie) Crosier of Laramie, Chance (Desiree) Crosier of Wright, Wyo., and Brooklynn VanCleve of Billings, Mont.; her mother-in-law, Shelly Norris of Malta, Mont.; her many nieces and nephews, including Preston, Ava, Aubrey, Oakley, Lily, and Braven, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Decker; maternal grandmother, Arlene Swain and great-grandmother, Hattie Bartlett; and cousin, Troy Swain all of Laramie, Wyo.

Viewing and visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025,
with a Funeral Service following at 1:00 p.m. at Harvest Church (2535 Harvest Drive).
A potluck celebration of Hattie’s life will follow the service at the same venue.

Hattie’s memory will be long cherished by all who knew her.  Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
