George and my father, Gene Fick, were friends in Centennial. They shared many a beverage and swapped WWII stories, hunting stories and in general, could solve most problems given enough time before they headed home for dinner! So glad I saw him several times this summer and enjoyed some of his story-telling myself.

First off I would like to thank George for all the stories he told and for all the laughs. I want to thank him for putting up with me as a kid and for becoming a friend. My condolences to everyone that ever had the privilege of meeting George. They don't make them like him anymore. George will be missed but will bring a smile to my face every time I think of him, I'm sure that there are many out there that feel the same.
