Friedabell, better known as Frieda to her friends and family, lost her courageous battle with cancer on May 8, 2016. Her loving husband, Dave, and her daughter, Frieda, surrounded her in her last moments.
Frieda was born to Lozetta Thomas and Archy Peterman on January 12, 1936 in Independence, Iowa. On March 27, 1972, she married the love of her life, Dave Childers; they were married for 44 years and had two children, Frieda and David Jr.
Dave and Frieda called several places home throughout their lives, however, their most recent home was in Laramie, Wyoming where they lived with their daughter. Frieda is survived by her husband, Dave, her daughter, Frieda (Gene) Adams of Laramie, WY, and her son, David (Yvonne) Childers of Hemet, CA. Frieda is also survived by five grandchildren: Jessica, Jonathon, Aubrey, Savanna, and Gavin and two great-grandchildren: Porter and Marshall. Frieda truly loved each and every one of her family members.
There will be a Celebration of Life to commemorate Frieda’s incredible lifetime on Friday, May 13th, 2016 at the West Laramie Firehouse meeting room from 6-8 PM.
I was so sad to know my aunt Frieda had passed. Her children back here in Ia are shocked. Yes she has more then 2 kids. And lots of brothers and sisters. I am shocked.
