Frank Joe Henderson, passed away November 29, 2024 in Laramie, Wyoming at the age of 79. He was born in Saratoga, Wyoming on August 21, 1945 to Don and Mabel Henderson. 

Frank married Phyllis Oneil on September 25, 1970. They had two boys, Frank (Bud), and Wade.

Frank grew up and attended school in Saratoga.  After graduating from high school, Frank enlisted in the U.S. Army.  When Frank left the Army, he returned to Wyoming where he was employed by the Carbon County Sheriffs Office and the Wyoming Highway Patrol for a brief period. Frank left law enforcement and began a long career driving semi truck. After almost 40 years of trucking, and several million miles traveled, Frank retired in 2010.

Frank enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and wonderful mountains around Saratoga.  He also enjoyed sharing a cold drink with his many friends.

Frank is survived by his sons Frank (Bud) Henderson, his wife Kassie and his family; and Wade Henderson, his wife LeaAnn and his family. He is also survived by his sisters Donna Mae Nordin and family, Patty (Francis) Herring and family, JoDel (Steve) Hone and family, and Loretta (Werner) Weber and family; his in-laws Jerry (Billie) Oneil and his family, and Martha (Orville) Howe, and family; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. He was proceeded in death by his wife of 43 years Phyllis, his parents Don and Mable Henderson, his mother and father-in-law Robert “Bob” and Ruby Oneil, his brother Roy, and his sister Helen Hodgkiss

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests donations be made to the Saratoga Cemetery District.  There are no plans for services the family plans are for next summer.
