Daren Kyle Deaver, 60, was born October 21, 1963, to Jim and Peggy Deaver. He passed away on December 30, 2023, and went to his new home in Heaven. Daren graduated from Laramie High School in 1982. He attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a degree in Industrial Education in 1987. He taught high school students woodworking, welding and auto mechanics in Cody, Wyoming. He left education to open a glass shop in Laramie, called Laramie Glass. He sold Laramie Glass and later went to work for Glass Masters in Cheyenne, Wyoming. They performed glass installations for large buildings, including projects at the University of Wyoming.
Daren had a great aptitude for building, repairing, and was an all-around handyman. He could fix everything but a broken heart. He loved baseball, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, motorcycle riding and golf. He could hit a golf ball a long, long way, however he rarely hit it straight. He had a great sense of humor and was gifted at practical jokes.
Daren was preceded in death by his mother Peggy Deaver.
He is survived by his father Jim Deaver; a brother Derek Deaver and his wife Jill; a sister Dana Hershiser and her husband Orel; 4 nieces Danielle, Dailee, Darci Deaver, Sloane Suddeth, as well as a nephew Spencer Suddeth and their families.
A private ceremony and burial will take place at a later date at Green Hill Cemetery in Laramie, Wyoming with a celebration of life to follow.

Dear Dana & Deaver Family, So sorry for your loss. Daren was Mr. mischief, yet always had a wonderful smile and joke to be told. He certainly brought out the smiles on those around him. Long after I left Laramie, he occasionally would send out a text or message, just to convey a joke to brighten my day. I'll always remember and appreciate those times. RIP, Verda
So deeply saddened to see this. Daren was a dear sweet friend. The time he spent living in my home and working for me was always joyfully and comical. I will miss him dearly. Many thoughts and prayers for all who were blessed to know and love him as I did. Till we meet again Daren Fancie Spear

What a gift to know Daren and be part of his life. Daren employed my husband when we were a young couple and needed food on our table, we are forever grateful for all of the help he gave us many years ago. Daren and Scott loved razzing each other even up until currently on Facebook, he had a great sense of humor and love for people. Daren you will be missed but you are always loved by those who were lucky enough to know you. Rest in Peace Daren

So many childhood memories with all of you that I cherish. I pray for peace and comfort for you all.
From a young age, Daren and my brother Kevin were separated in classes and activities because of their antics (practical jokes). Now, they are probably at it again. The boys are in good hands with our moms being there. I will miss Daren! Love Jilly (what he always called me).
Wonderful memories of his simple, yet great humor. Love, prayers, and sympathy to his amazing family.
I am sorry for your loss
