Dannyray Anthony Pacheco was born on December 8, 1996 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Samuel Pacheco and Angela Romero. He went to be with our Lord on Friday, August 21, 2015. He spent his early childhood in New Mexico before moving to Laramie in 7th grade. Dannyray was very active in sports, playing football for the Laramie Junior High and high school teams as well as playing lacrosse with the Laramie Knighthawks. Dannyray enjoyed spending time with his friends, family and especially his father, 4wheeling, camping and fishing. Dannyray graduated from Wyoming Cowboy Challenge Academy on September 6, 2014 in Guernsey, Wyoming. After graduation he went to become a peer mentor for the WCCA. He was currently employed at Blue Beacon in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Dannyray had an everlasting impact on everyone with his humorous and outgoing personality. He was a friend to all and always willing to lend a hand. Dannyray took great pride in his ’95 Chevy Pickup. Dannyray is survived by his father, Samuel Pacheco (Maria Archuleta) of Laramie, Wyoming, his mother, Angela Romero of Las Vegas, New Mexico. His two brothers, Antonio (Melinda) Pacheco, Emilio Romero, two sisters, Samantha Pacheco Alirez (Robert) and Frances Montoya, and numerous nieces and nephews. His aunts and uncles, Antonio (Patsy) Pacheco, Alonzo (Gina) Pacheco, Elviria (Phillip) Martinez, Carmelita (Kevin) Doyle, Rebecca Martinez (Richard Quintanilla), Aunts Ada Roybal, Evelyn Chavez, best friend, Matthew Montoya and girlfriend, Brittany Landry, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Dannyray will be greatly missed by his best friend, constant companion and loving father, Sam. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at St. Laurence O’Toole Catholic Church with The Reverend Fr. Dave Erickson, celebrant.
