Cathy was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time hunting, camping with her family, and fishing. In 2006, Cathy and Jim moved to Laramie so that they could be closer to their grandkids. She loved to help babysit the grandkids and attend Harvest Christian Center where she was able to meet many friends.

She is survived by her husband Jim Bowlds, her sons Randy (Angela) Bowlds and Scott (Amanda Sullivan) Bowlds, her daughter Libby Bowlds, grandchildren Dominik Trenchard, Christopher Bowlds, Brody Bowlds, Brecklyn Sullivan, and Bryson Sullivan, her brother Gordon Peterson, and many nephews and cousins.
Services will take place at a later date next summer.
Jim, Libbey, and the rest of the family, I'm so sorry to hear about Cathy leaving us here on earth, but praise God, we know she's gone home in the arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ. There were many Bible studies we did over at Ronda and Nancy's. God is in control.
We are so very very sorry to hear this….God love and watch over all of you…love and prayers to each and everyone….Ron and Glenda Myrstol
Our hearts hurt with you on the loss of Cathy, wife, mother and grandmother. Prayers are with you.
She was a wonderful friend and neighbor. Hugs and prayers to you all.
I was so saddened to see this. I had only recently learned that she had cancer and I never really got a chance to talk to her. Cathy had a sweet, caring spirit and she was a friend to all. My prayers go out to Jim and Libby and all the family. So very sorry for your loss.
My heart goes out to Jim and the family, for the great empty hole in your lives that has been left with the loss of a wife, mother, and grandmother! You were all Cathy's life and she cared so much for all of you! I met Cathy at Harvest and she was such a sweet spirited soul. I loved having her in our Bible study, that I know she enjoyed, but her conversation always came Bach to her family. She will be greatly missed, but She is in the presence of Jesus, and free from all the pain and suffering ! Knowing we will see her again alive and well! I pray The Lord gives you all peace and comfort at this time!
