Bonnie Beth Lankford (nee Kruppa) died on December 20, 2015 with family at her side at Ivinson Memorial Hospital.

Bonnie was brn on June 9, 1929 to Joe and Verna Kruppa (nee Hawkins) in Laramie, Wyoming.  She attended Laramie Schools.  She married Kenneth Robert Lankford on November 27, 1945 and together, they brought three children into the world, Susan Lee, Stevia Lynn and Kenneth Robert, II.  Susan died at the age of one year from pneumonia.

Bonnie was an avid bowler and loved playing bridge with her closest friends.  She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family and loved to go visit her brother, Joe and his family.

Bonnie worked in the family business (West Laramie Fly Store) until she and Kenny retired.  They spent their winter months in Mexico and came home to Albany during the summer months.  They later divorced.  Bonnie then went to work for Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the U.S. Forest Service.   It was during these years that Bonnie met three of her dearest friends Barb Spreng, Angie Joyce and Lori Kelly.  While living in her home on Park Avenue, she became close friends with Jamey Eddy and Paul Howard, who were always there to keep her lawn mowed and her walks shoveled.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Verna Kruppa, brothers Joe and Lee Kruppa and daughter, Susan Lee Lankford.  She is survived by her daughter, Stevia Lankford of Albany, Kenneth and Jennifer Lankford II of Albany, grandchildren, Kendra and Johnny Ortega and great-grandchildren, Sienna and JR, from Denver and Dan and Heidi Schuenke and great-grandchildren, Kara and Dax from Laramie.

Memorial Services will be held in June.  The time and date will be published at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you contribute to the charity of your choice.
