He is known to his many friends as a very charismatic, generous and admired man and is respected by those around him for not doing things half way, putting his full energy and focus into whatever he had his mind set on.

He enjoyed spending time with his son in the outdoors, being able to go with him to hunt his first deer.  He was an avid fisherman, hunter, snowmobiler and outdoorsman.

I have no words. Just heard this and I am heartbroken for all who came in touch with Al. At Downtown Greeley, we hired his company about 8 years ago when it was fairly small and watched as he exploded that company into a multi-state, huge operation. He met with us only recently to inform us that he was starting it up again. He was certainly larger than life, a force to be reckoned with, but a gentle giant at the same time. My condolences to all, especially his family. I am so very saddened by this shocking news.

So now we pray for you, Stephanie, Brecken, and Al’s family and friends to feel God’s love, comfort and healing. As all of you put one foot in front of the other, remember how much you are loved and supported. With love, Kevin and Sara

  • Todd Golden

You are loved by so many and will never be forgotten.

A fellow veteran who served with Alan shared the sadness of this with a Veteran's group we belong to. Loss on this level is almost impossible to appreciate if you weren't family or dear friend, but the ripple-effect of a good person making their way through the world, as Alan obviously did, can be validated in the very fact that I, a total stranger, have learned of the impact he had and am now leaving this condolence. Certainly, all those who knew Alan will carry their memories of him, with them, as they move forward through life; in that, may he forever live in the positive impacts he had in this world. I'm terribly sorry for your loss. -A friend of a Friend of Alan
