Judith Lynn Sugarman

Judith Lynn Sugarman was born in Salt Lake City Utah on June 15th, 1942. She grew up in Rocky Ford and Fort Collins Colorado. In adulthood she moved to Wyoming, where she resided until her death on February 6th, 2025. Judy was best described as one of a kind. She was fiercely loyal, endlessly generous, deeply kind and always genuine. She loved people and considered every person she met to be an immediate friend. Those that were lucky enough to have her in their lives benefited from the color, laughter and joy she brought to the world. Judy never wanted or asked for anything, she was selfless and the embodiment of love. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgina and Jack, her beloved partner Terry, and many friends and relatives.  She is survived by her adoring niece and nephew, Erin and Noah and their mother Joan, and her three brothers Mark, Jan and Craig. Judy will be forever missed and forever loved. The light she gave to the world cannot be extinguished. Her memory is a blessing.

“Say not in grief ‘she is no more’ but in thankfulness that she was. Death is not the extinguishing of a light but the putting out of the lamp because the dawn has come” — Rabindranath Tagore
