I am highly blest to have known Colonel Hirsch, serving with him at Vandenberg Air Force Base in ‘73 then having him as my supervisor at Space Command at Peterson Air Force Base. Always a kind and a great leader, he guided me as his administrative NCO. I am indebted to him for assisting me in my last years in the Air Force. Thank you Colonel and condolences to his family for their loss. Joe Macupa, MSgt, Retired, USAF

Emily & Jennifer, I spoke with Fred a lot on the phone but I never met him face to face. I’m so saddened by the immense loss your family has suffered. No doubt you will carry on the wonderful legacy of your Mom & Dad.
