Elsie E. Hill, 75, of Rock River, Wyoming, entered into God’s kingdom on January 7, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born July 9, 1948, to John and Zelda Dunmire, and she grew up with four sisters and a brother in Wheatland, Wyoming.

Elsie, the most loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother is survived by her daughters, Kathy, Mary and Sara; son, Benny Joe; grandchildren, Greg, Nicole, Ryan, Alicia, Anthony, and Jace; great-grandchildren, Riley, Kaylee, Jocelyn, Katelyn, Ella, Hunter, Harper, and Andee; and great-great-grandchild, Liam.

Elsie graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor’s degree in education. After ranching for over twenty years, she and her late husband retired in Rock River where she became a loved member of the First Baptist Church family. When she wasn’t in bible study or church, she enjoyed doing arts and crafts and taking care of her flowers in her yard.  She loved and took care of her family and friends, and she loved any animal that needed a home. She could always see the good in others, and she loved and appreciated life to its fullest.

Arrangements will be made for a memorial service at the First Baptist Church in Rock River, Wyoming.
