Greg and family, I'm so sorry to hear about Kelly's passing. I was blessed to re-meet/reconnect with Kelly from 2014-2018 when I moved back to Laramie to finish school. I wish I had the opportunity to get to know him better. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. Kelly will be missed by many!
Such a shock...had seen him that Friday night and as usual he gave me grief and I returned it. Such was our friendship! He was such an avid competitor. The most fun time I had was being in the Fantasy Football league, being coached by my sons. I was up in the top 5 all year and made it to #1, much to his dismay, because I didn't really know what I was doing. I think he felt I was cheating. Long story short, his team ended up beating mine and you couldn't wipe the grin off his face if you tried. Good times with this one!
Helen and family, Our deepest sympathy to you all at this time. You are in our thoughts and we are so sorry for your loss.
I am so sad to hear of Kelly's passing, the miles between us kept us from hanging out together as we used to. I will never forget the fun time we had whether it was skiing, shooting pool, or bar hopping. Kelly was the best friend a guy could have, he was a very good man and a great friend. May our heavenly father comfort the family at this difficult time.
RIP my friend.
So very sorry to hear of Kelly’s passing and sending prayers to his family. May God comfort you in your loss.
To Helen & Greg, Sorry for you loss. May the word of God be with you & may Kelly be with God. Condolences.
Greg, I was truly surprised to hear of Kelly’s passing. I was blessed to know him, and recently spoke at length with him when he was waiting for an eye exam. He was a kind and gentle soul, and touched so many people. My prayers are with you and Helen during these difficult times. Kelly will be missed, but will always remain in our hearts...
Kelly and I met in 7th grade and he was always the consummate gentleman and his smile made us all feel just a little more comfortable in the tortuous teenage years. Decades passed and contact faded, the picture of Kelly brought back the full impact of his persona. God has called one of his Angels on earth back home, the lost is ours. Be in piece my friend, rest in eternity with the warmth of God's hug. Bob Waddell II
Our deepest condolences! Hugs and Prayers for you all! May God comfort you all in this difficult time. Our Love, Mike & Ruth Fortman
So affected to hear of Kelly's passing. I was lucky enough to play the occasion round of golf with him from high school thru adulthood - he was always a gentleman and fair competitor. May God's tender mercies comfort Helen and Greg.
Greg and Helen, I am truly saddened by the news of Kelly's passing. We had been friends for many years, and I would run into him frequently in Cheyenne. He was always a class act, and will be missed greatly. My condolences to both of you and your families.
So sorry to hear that Kelly has left us. Always a class act. May heaven provide him smooth fairways and lots of birdies. Doug Haines
I am sending heartfelt sympathy. I always enjoyed Kelly and am so sorry he has left this world so soon.
Greg and Helen, God bless you all in this time. May you find peace and comfort in great memories always .
Greg & Helen, I am so sorry for the loss of your Big brother. He was a good friend , he recently reached out to me and gave me some kind words and encouragement. It made me think of him. Reminded me of a baseball game where he was pitching. He was on his A game that day, throwing some heat! That’s how I will remember him. Our thoughts & prayers are with you.
I’m so empty it’s hard to express my sadness. Kelly and I have been close for almost 40 years. He was my guy to call and my constant movie date. The bright spot in my week when he would stop by. Upon receiving Greg’s call Monday my heart sank and my world stopped. Kelly was loving, kind and courageous. His health was such a hinderance to the kind of man he truly wanted to be physically. As I said goodbye today the reality of life and death slapped me with the cold, hard truth. Kelly I love and will miss you terribly. Thank you for the laughs, the trips we took, the adventures and stories we shared as well as the secrets. I will miss you each day and much more on Saturday nights. Your poker mates will never have the same games and we’ll all miss hearing about your picks for football. Sissy and Dexter will miss your company as will Tony miss you popping out. Rest In Peace my friend. My love from here to there. ?❤️ Greg and Helen my heart aches for you and your losses you’ve had to endure. Thank you for thinking of me and know I’m here if you need anything at all.
Greg and Helen, my deepest condolences to you and Kelly’s family. And I just read of your Mom’s passing....I am so sorry. Growing up together on the west side, I have fond memories of us as kids and throughout St. Laurence, LJH, and LHS. Keeping you all in my prayers.....God bless.
Very good guy, Kelly. God bless him and the family. Deepest sympathies. Hugh Smith
My deepest condolences to you Helen and Greg on the passing of Kelly. He was so fun to be around.
golf, bowling, cards, Chelo's, bars, I probably have spent more quality time with Kelly that anyone except his immediate family. I always told people that my next argument with Kelly will be my first argument with Kelly. He would put his personal situations aside when he was with others, so not everyone knew of his troubles. I have checked the Laramie obits for the 19 years I have been in Texas, and not one has touched me more than this one. I need to be good, so I can join him in heaven.
Dear Greg & Helen, What a shock to hear of Kelly passing he fought thru a lot with is diabetes and it sad that he could not control it. He was a proud man and was a good Office manger for Summit Structures and Friend. He took pride in his work even when he had a bad day with his Diabetes. He love his family and Friends I will miss him and hope that God has a nice Golf Course for him to play on. Kevin & Tamera Nelson
