Fredrick Joseph Rettelle, 79, of Encampment, died December 11, 2020 at his home. He was born on August 23, 1941 in Bay City, Michigan to George and Julia (Dobos) Rettelle. He married Laura Wolfard on November 13, 1971 in Encampment, WY.
He served in the United States Air Force from 1958-1984 and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired after 26 years as a Master Sergeant with Meritorious Service and Air Force Achievement medals.
In addition to spending time with family and friends, he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting. He also enjoyed playing table games such as dominos, cribbage and pinochle.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, George Rettelle.
He is survived by his wife, Laura of Encampment; his children, Robert (Meghann) Rettelle of Denver, CO, Brian (Mari) Rettelle of Wheatridge, CO, Rick (Becky) Rettelle of Mesa, AZ, and Judie Rettelle of Mesa, AZ; his grandchildren, Zoe, Isla, and Nikki Rettelle; his brother, Darwin (Kathy) Rettelle Sr. of Freeland, MI; and his numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
