Richard W. Oppie, 81, of Laramie, died Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at his home. He was born July 11, 1937 in Sterling, Colorado to Lawrence and Helen (Couch) Oppie.
He is survived by his wife, Vanadia Oppie; his children, Larry Oppie (Stacey), and Steve Oppie (Trish); his grandchildren, Presley, Shelby, and Tyler Oppie; and his brother, Jack Oppie (Carol).
Per Richard’s request there will be no services held. Cremation will take place with Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home.

Richard had two other siblings: Mark Jordan and Linda Lucas. Time and distance can create an estrangement but Richard will always be remembered fondly by us. May he rest in peace.
