Love and hugs Punky and to your family. You were a fantastic boy and great man.
Our condolences-did not know Wally personally -just through stories from brother Guy. Take care Pat. Allan & Sylvia
I have known all the Burnetts for many years. I feel like I grew up with Punky, Johnny, Carol and Judy after they moved to town. Their mother Lillian was a gem of a lady. They were all such terrific people. I remember Punky playing basketball. Coming from Medicine Bow it seemed then that everyone was apart of your family because we spent so much time with each other. All had polio but each was affected differently. Punky was so friendly and easy going and loved sports. I have not seen him in recent years but that hasn't dimmed my respect for him and his family. It is so hard to see the life long friends near your own age that you have known starting to pass on. But it doesn't take away from the many great times we shared through out the years and the memories we have to look back on. Fairwell my friend.
I'm so sorry to hear of "Punky's passing. I have some great memories of him. He was a hell of a good man!!
Patricia - it's with a heavy heart that I offer you my deepest condolences, even though I didn't know Wally personally, I felt like I knew him because you always talked about him and your life together in our conversations. I knew you all had a devoted love, support and commitment to each other and were truly blessed to be forever soul mates! I know you will miss him so much!!! Little by little, day by day, one step at a time the Lord will give you the peace and comfort you need for your pain and sorrow, and the days you fell you can't make those little steps the Lord will carry you through. Love you and Prayers always....Linda Moore and Family

My condolences to Wally's family. Getting to see Wally at TLM was always the highlight of my day. He will be truly missed.
So sorry for all of you in the Medicine Bow area. A good man and well known throughout the county. Linda Fleming Baggs, member St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Baggs, a sister church of St. Luke's in Med Bow, too.
Wally was a very hard working man. Gave up a simple job to live and work the ranch in the medician bow mountains that he loved so much. We became good friends when he married Pat. She worked along side him in all kinds of weather. Together they made their home in a worn down trailer Sometimes so cold water froze on the windowsill. They were wonderful friends and Wally never quit what he loved. BWe were blessed to have had him as a friend. RIP
