Eileen Strother, 70, passed away Wednesday, July 17th, 2017 at her home in San Juan Capistrano. Eileen Strother was born October 1st. 1946 in Laramie Wyoming the daughter of Joe and Rose Chavez. She was united in marriage to Dave Strother on August 1st, 1964 in Laramie, Wyoming.
Eileen was a member of the Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano Catholic Church and the Calvary Chapel women’s bible study. She was very active in the church and volunteered right up to her passing.
Eileen was very active in her community and within a short time became well known for her bright and outgoing personality. She was kind and very generous to those less fortunate.
She is survived by her children; Greg Strother, Bonsall, CA, Andrea Stines, Phoenix, AZ,; a daughter-in-law Karen Strother, Bonsall, CA; 4 loving grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; 1 sister, Regina Owens, of Laramie, WY; 1 brother-in-law, Jeff Owens, Laramie, WY.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. David Catholic Church, 5930 West 12th Street, Seattle, Washington.
Funeral service and Mass for Eileen Strother, 70, a resident of California will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 4th, 2017 at St. Laurence Catholic Church, with Father Rob Spaulding, celebrant. The family will hold a gathering Celebrating her life with friends and family from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 4th, 2017 at Washington Park.
