Garth G. Gregory was a grandfather, father, brother and friend. He passed away due to health complications on April 26, 2017, surrounded by family and friends at Poudre Valley Hospital. He was 54 years old.
Garth was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Charles and Sharron (Guffey) Gregory on November 20, 1962. He had a younger sister, Lacy L. Bryant of Texas and a younger brother Gye J.K. Gregory of Laramie.
He chose a trade early, and following in the footsteps of his grandfather, became a painter and drywaller. He did this for 30 years. In 1990, he married Paula (Mayes) Gregory. They had 3 children together; Kenny and Kayla Gregory, Jon and Kassandra Lundblad and Kira Gregory. Although they were divorced, they regained friendship while watching their children and grandchildren grow. He had 5 grandchildren; Wade(7) and Colton(5) Gregory, Serenity(5) and Lane(1) Gregory, and Cora(3) Lundblad. He loved all of his grandbabies very much, they were his pride and joy. He always said that being a grandpa was way better than being a Dad.
Garth loved to hunt and fish, a love he instilled into his children. He spent many hours teaching his children their ways around a rifle and a fishing rod. He taught his children to respect the animal they harvested and to never forget the reason behind the hunt. He was happiest amongst the aspens and the pines, or on the glass reflection of the lake. Whether it was the work of dragging an elk or the fun of reeling in a big Walleye, he took pride in what he did and, in turn, what his children did.
Although he has left behind many people, family and friends alike, he is eternally hunting, fishing and watching his babies and grandbabies grow. He will be sorely missed, there will not be a day that goes by that he is not thought of and loved. He is with our Father in Heaven and will forever look down upon his loved ones with pride and love.
A service is scheduled for May 5, 2017 at 1:30p.m. at Montgomery Stryker Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Lundbald officiating. There will be a reception to follow at the Eagles Fraternity, as Garth was a longtime member.

Dear Gregory family, We share many memories, but my most favorite is remembering how Garth's entire face just lit up with love whenever he spoke of you! He was the proudest father and grandfather! I so admire all the love and care you always gave your dad. You are a strong and loving family, and we share in your sadness and loneliness.
Paula and Families, We have a lot of older memories of Garth as an employee and a good friend! A lot of laughs were had and a lot of great hunting stories were told.
